Fed Raises Rates by 0.25% to 22-Year High

The Federal Reserve raised the interest rates by a quarter of a percentage point at its Federal Open Market Committee meeting today, reaching levels last seen in 2001, as mortgage rates remain more than three percentage points above pandemic-era lows.
